Our Church

Central Baptist Church is a small, country church in Sulphur, Louisiana, with a big heart for sharing Jesus. We’re a loving, prayer-centered congregation committed to living in the center of God’s will. Through worship and service, we seek to make Christ known and welcome all who come through our doors.

VISION

To move in the center of God’s will—sharing the love of Jesus Christ with our community, our nation, and the world through prayer, service, and missions.

VALUES

At Central Baptist Church, our values guide everything we do as we seek to follow Jesus faithfully:

  • Biblical Truth: We believe God’s Word is our foundation and authority for life and ministry.

  • Prayer: We rely on God’s power through prayer, trusting Him to do what only He can do.

  • Worship: We gather joyfully to honor God through music, fellowship, and the study of His Word.

  • Community: We strive to be a welcoming family of faith where people of all ages can grow in Christ together.

  • Obedience: We seek to live in the center of God’s will, following His call to “go into all the world” with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
